In 2015, he launched his YouTube channel, titled “Sem Moderação,” with Marcelo Duque, but it had only one video and was unsuccessful. Shortly after, he entered the world of advertising, working for an internet services company.
That same year, he debuted in theater, playing the protagonist in José Wilker’s play Cinderella, at Teatro Ipanema, with actress Anna Rita Cerqueira. Afterward, he was one of the substitute actors throughout the performance of the work.

In an interview with Spanish magazine Hugo Gloss, Lamoglia admitted that before shooting the steamy scenes in Elite, he was actually pretty nervous. “It was much more relaxed than I imagined. We have a whole preparation for that. At the time of these scenes, the team is all reduced on the set, at that moment there are only those that need to be there.”
He added that he didn’t remove all his clothes in front of the cameras. “I’ll leave it to your imagination! (laughs) Just kidding. It was the first time I had do some kind of scene with a little more intimacy. I didn’t do any scenes completely naked, because as much as it was a sex scene, or something more intimate, we had a protection, a sex cover. They call it a thong here. Or some sock, something like that. The crew is all set up for that kind of scene, so I felt particularly comfortable when I had do these scenes.”
He also explained a distinction between himself and the character. “I also feel that, as an actor, I’m a little protected by the character, because Iván is there, not André Lamoglia. So I’m standing there defending the character and what the script asks of me.”
