Cozy Earth Waxed Canvas Tote for $115: If you’re into low-key, functional fashion with a hint of “quiet luxury,” this 12-ounce waxed canvas tote delivers just that. Think Yeezy circa 2017 in terms of aesthetics (minus the antisemitism). The washed navy is my favorite, but earthy colors like cedar brown, palm-green, and taupe are also trendy. The bag is durable enough to handle a weekend trip to the farmer’s markets, an overnight stay, or even a beach day. The Alo Yoga Foxy Sherpa Totes are available for $288. The bag is made of plush faux-fur with an embroidered Alo logo in the middle. It has no frills. The bag is large enough to be used as an overnight bag and the handles are ultra-soft so they don’t dig in my shoulders even when I pack too much (which I always do). This is a winter and fall tote bag. Sherpa in the summer feels like a crime. But for cold weather months, this is the perfect companion. The only downside to this bag is its $288 price. It’s made from water-resistant, nylon and is a smart twist on the traditional tote. It can be worn in four different ways – as a handbag, a backpack, a tote or a crossbody bag. The Soft Bag comes with adjustable side straps. The external zipper pocket is a fun way to store small essentials. But the external zipper pocket is a playful touch for stashing small essentials.

This is probably what you picture when you think of a tote–it has one large compartment with two smaller internal pockets, and it doesn’t snap or zip closed. It can be used for work or a weekend away. The bag is large enough to fit a laptop and books. Fun fact: it’s made of returned and damaged Lo & Sons totes. The bag is durable and large. It fits a laptop up to 16 inches and measures almost 17 inches. This bag is probably too large for an everyday bag. This bag is also a good diaper bag for parents. For parents, this is also a decent diaper bag.Fjallraven Kanken Totepack for $100:
We love the Kanken backpack. The Totepack bag is the same bag, but it can be converted from a tote into a backpack. Its size is a downside, as it only has a 13″ laptop pocket, and two side pockets that can hold water bottles or small umbrellas. However, they are very tight so you won’t be able to fit in a Nalgene 1L.
