Winners of the 2025 PGA Awards
UPDATED Thursday winners: The Producers Guild of America announced the winners of its 2025 PGA Awards on Thursday. The team behind FX’s docuseries Shogun, The Making of Shogun was awarded for Outstanding Short-Form Program. The producers of Cosm Studio’s Orbital were presented with the PGA Innovation Award.
The PGA West Coast Celebration of the Year’s Nominees took place at NeueHouse, Venice.
The PGA Innovation Award, a juried award, recognizes the best entertainment efforts in VR, AR and emerging media.
The producers of Max’s Sesame Street and Netflix’s Simone Biles Rising won Outstanding Children’s Programs for the third year in a row. This news was announced at the PGA East Coast Celebration in New York City.
The 36th Annual PGA Awards will be held on Saturday, at the Fairmont Century Plaza, Los Angeles. The guild will announce the winner of the Darryl F. Zanuck Award, which has been a bellwether for the Academy Award winners for Best Picture for 16 out of the last 21 years. It aligned itself with Oscar last year by awarding Oppenheimer the award.
The Zanuck Award nominees for this year are the producers of Anora: The Brutalist; A Complete Unknown; Conclave; Dune Part Two Emilia Perez A Real Pain September 5 The Substance Wicked.
The PGA will also present awards to Chris Meledandri and Dana Walden for the Milestone Award, Taika Waititi and Paula Weinstein for the Trailblazer Award and Taika and Norman Lear Achievement Award.
