The Rookie’s Will Trent is prompted to shift time by the ABC Trump interview
ABC News announced today that it will be airing an exclusive primetime interview on Tuesday with President Donald Trump, which marks his 100th day as president.
ABC News Senior National Correspondent Terry Moran will interview Trump in the Oval Office. The interview will be aired as a primetime ABC special on Tuesday, April 29 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CDT. Later that evening, ABC News Live will stream the sit-down on Hulu and Disney+.
The Rookie will air at 10pm EDT instead of the usual 9pm EDT.
Trump faces challenges as he approaches the 100th day of his presidency. Supporters have praised him for his efforts to bring manufacturing to the U.S. and to reduce tariffs. He also received praise for trying to broker a peace during the three-year war between Russia and Ukraine. He has also been criticized for his economic policies and immigration policy.
ABCNews/Washington Post/Ipsos’ latest poll found that 39% of respondents approved of Trump’s performance as president. Meanwhile, 55% were not satisfied. CNN’s poll, conducted by SSRS on Sunday, ranked Trump at 41%. In polls going back to 1945, the previous lowest approval rating for a president in his first 100 days of office was Trump’s in 2017.
