Zachery Ty Bryan, better known as Brad Taylor from Home Improvement has led a complex life. According to several reports, Bryan had been arrested on a similar charge before. This was not the first time he was arrested on a similar charge.

Bryan is not currently married as of January 2025. Bryan got engaged in 2021. Previously, the actor and producer was married to his ex-wife, Carly Matros.

In December 2021, Zachery announced that he was engaged to
Johnnie Faye Cartwright. Zachery and Carly stayed together despite several legal issues he faced, such as in July 2023, when he was arrested after an alleged domestic violence incident with a woman in Oregon, according to Us Weekly. Zachery was accused of two felonies, one misdemeanor – assault, robbery, and harassment. At the time, Johnnie provided a statement to the outlet, noting that she’d “always want what’s best for the father of children.”[her]”Trauma can bring struggles in many shapes and forms,” Johnnie’s statement read. It’s a terrible situation that will be spun so many different ways. I have learned that the truth is never what has been said. I ask that everyone respect our privacy, for the sake our children and families, so the healing can begin. “
Prior his arrest in 2023, Zachery had been charged with felony assault, misdemeanor assault of the fourth degree, and interfering with the making of a police report after an incident with Johnnie. Zachery entered into a plea agreement in February 2021, five months after he was charged. He was found guilty of
menacing, fourth-degree assault and pleaded to the charges. Zachery was sentenced to three years probation and required to complete a violence prevention program. Zachery is the father of seven children. He has seven children. Three daughters, a son, and three grandchildren with his ex-wife Carly.
