This week marks three years since POLITICO leaked a draft opinion on the Supreme Court’s Dobbs V. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision. In the month following, the Court overturned Roe v. Wade officially, changing forever the status of abortion rights in America. We are revisiting Boom! to mark the anniversary. It’s been a week since the news broke that the Supreme Court was likely to overturn Roe. In a leaked draft of the opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization penned by Justice Samuel Alito, the Court plans to not only uphold Mississippi’s 15-week ban but also overturn Roe and Planned Parenthood v. Casey–the two fundamental Supreme Court cases that create the foundation for abortion access nationwide.In a new episode of Boom!
