The time has come for the 81st Annual 2024 Venice Film Festival to commence, with the festivities kicking off today within the majestic city situated within northern Italy’s Veneto region. Venice is set to host stars from the world of film and beyond, with the highly-anticipated festival set to run from August 28 until September 7.

Tonight, for the opening celebrations and premiere of Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, stars from across the globe have descended upon The Palazzo del Cinema on the Lido di Venezia and pulled out all the stops for day one.
