The 6 Best Hotels In Melbourne
Melbourne, Australia is my favourite city. Melbourne is a multicultural, vibrant city that’s known for its world-class restaurants, rich arts scene and lively atmosphere. The city is a popular destination for travelers and backpackers. Melbourne’s iconic lanes are my favorite. I love the street art, and finding hidden bars. There’s so much you can do in Melbourne that it would be easy to spend a whole week without getting bored. It doesn’t matter how much time you have, but choosing a good hotel is important. Not all hotels are great in the city. Some of them were even worse! To help you get the most out of your trip to Australia, I’ve put together a list of my favorite hotels in Melbourne. Treasury on Collins
This 4-star aparthotel in Melbourne’s CBD is located in the central business district, which I highly recommend to most tourists. The hotel is located in a landmark building from the 19th century. I thought it was a good job to maintain the character of the building while updating all public areas with elegant details such as gilded molding. The hotel offers a fitness centre, and the happy hour they offer each evening is a nice touch. The happy hour is a nice addition. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural lighting coming in through the large windows. The neutral colors and high-quality furnishings make for a simple yet sophisticated design. The kitchenette in the suites includes a microwave, mini-fridge and Nespresso machine. Full apartments have a dishwasher and cooktop. The rooms all have a washer/dryer and a TV with Netflix. They also come with a decent-sized desk. Bathrooms are clean and modern, with walk-in showers and premium toiletries. Soft towels are also provided. This is an excellent choice for those who want to have a kitchen at a centrally-located upscale hotel.

2. The Victoria Hotel
This historical, three-star hotel in the center of the city dates back to 1880. The traditional design of the hotel is beautiful, with its grand entry and Art Deco décor in the restaurant and lobby (which serves lunch and dinner as well as a buffet breakfast). The hotel has a few basic amenities that are still useful, such as a fitness centre, heated plunge pool and sauna. The rooms are minimalist and simple, but they maximize space. The rooms vary in size, but they are generally spacious for a city-hotel. Large windows provide natural light. Single rooms are a great option for solo travelers who want to stay in a hotel but don’t have the budget to do a hostel. Each room comes with basic amenities such as a flatscreen television, tea and coffee making facilities, a refrigerator, and a desk. Bathrooms are functional and clean, with either a walk in shower or a combination of shower and bathtub. This is my top choice for budget-conscious travelers who want to stay in the center of the city.

The rooms are spacious and ultra-modern, with an edgy, stylish design. They have large, comfortable beds, big flatscreen televisions that cast, a desk, free bottled water, as well as stocked minibars. The floor-to ceiling windows are great because they let in lots of light. The bathrooms in black marble are luxurious and sleek, with large walk-in showers and high-end toiletries.
