Volkswagen has unveiled the all-new 2025 Tiguan, marking an evolution in its compact SUV lineup. The new Tiguan is built on the MQB evo advanced platform and features a bold, modern design with enhanced performance and premium features that are tailored to the North American market. A curved undercut that creates a strong shoulder line above the front fenders gives it a more athletic profile. The roofline extends at the rear, with a spoiler, which helps optimize aerodynamics. Also, side flow elements are incorporated into the D-post, and air curtains are incorporated in the front bumper. New wheels and colors are available across the entire range of the new Tiguan. The new color palette includes three options, including Avocado Green Pearl, Sandstone Uni and Monterey Blue Pearl. These colors add a vibrant touch to the vehicle’s bold styling. Inside, the Tiguan offers a refined cabin with premium materials such as genuine American walnut wood decor, a wrapped and double-stitched center console, upgraded Savona leather interiors, and cloth seats with an embossed design. The gear selector is now located on the steering wheel, allowing for more storage in the cabin. Third-generation Tiguan features next-gen infotainment, a user-friendly interface and a high-tech experience. Up to five preset Atmospheres are available, as well as a Custom selection. Under the hood, the 2025 Tiguan is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged EA888 four-cylinder engine, now delivering 201 horsepower, up from the previous 184. The new Tiguan is also lighter than its predecessor, saving fuel and improving acceleration. The EPA’s estimated fuel economy will be available at a future date. The weight savings are in large part due to the use of aluminum in the suspension and high-strength hot-formed steel in the body structure.

Safety remains a priority, with the inclusion of four new airbags: driver knee, center, and rear side airbags, for a total of ten. All 2025 Tiguan trims will include VW’s sophisticated IQ.DRIVE (r) Level 2 driver-assistance features. The Travel Assist is a semi-automated level 2 driving assistant. It includes Front Assist, Active Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control Stop and Go (ACC), Lane Assist and Emergency Assist. Light Assist, Park Distance Control, and Exit Warning are now standard, and Park Assist Plus is available.

Availability and pricing of the all-new 2025 Tiguan will be announced closer to launch. The 2025 Tiguan will make a big impact on the compact SUV market with its bold design, enhanced performance and premium features.
