I want to spend more time in 2025 with my friends. It’s difficult to get together now that we all have kids and are married. We have thought about planning a trip. It can be overwhelming to plan a trip for guys. It’s important to pick a destination that everyone can afford and will enjoy. You want to make memories that will last a lifetime. Where do you go then? There are many destinations to choose from, including the rugged outdoors and the bright lights of Vegas. Check out these 10 destinations that I think are perfect for a next men’s trip.
1. Moab, Utah: Off-Roading Paradise
Moab, Utah is a picturesque destination for anyone seeking adventure. Visit Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. You can also hike with your guys under sandstone archways. Mountain biking, kayaking and paddle boarding are also fun. Other activities include rock climbing, paragliding and horseback riding. You can also visit the Moab museum or one of its many breweries if you want something more laid-back. This is a great destination for guys who love the outdoors.
2. Banff, Canada: A Wilderness Wonderland
Banff is usually a place you’d visit in the winter. This is a wonderful place to visit during Christmas, as it has a Hallmark-like feel. It’s beautiful all year round. You can enjoy snow-capped peaks, or stunning trails depending on when you visit. This town is home to some of the most beautiful ski resorts found in North America. You can also plan some relaxing activities like visiting hot springs after an adventure-filled day with your friends.
3. Reykjavik: Land of Fire and Ice
Iceland is not the first place that comes to mind when planning a trip for guys, but it’s a fantastic place to camp and explore the region. Rent a 4×4 to get started. You can see many waterfalls, glaciers and volcanic craters. The Silfra Fissure is a great place for thrill-seekers to dive between the tectonic plate at Silfra Fissure, or to hike on a frozen glacier using crampons. You can also relax with your friends in the Blue Lagoon or chase the Northern Lights at night. Reykjavik has a vibrant nightlife, with everything from live music to trendy bars.
4. Patagonia, Argentina: Ultimate Hiking Destination
Don’t worry there will be other stateside destinations on the list, but going abroad can offer up some unforgettable moments on your guys’ trip. Patagonia is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. The first time I saw these scenes was on an episode Top Gear. This is the perfect place to go on a rough adventure with your friends. Torres del Paine National Park offers hiking trails that lead to turquoise lakes, glaciers and granite peaks. Patagonia has world-class fly fishing spots. There are also many opportunities to stay in remote lodges or camp under the stars for an authentic wilderness experience. We’ve all seen The Hangover. Although I would not want to plan a trip like that, I would love to go to Las Vegas with my friends and have some funny and memorable moments. There are also plenty of natural attractions to discover beyond the bars, strip clubs, and casinos. Red Rock Canyon is a great place to go hiking, rock-climbing, and enjoy the stunning desert views. Rent exotic cars to race on race tracks if you are into motorsports. A helicopter ride will take you to the Grand Canyon, which is a stunning day trip. My spouse lived in Costa Rica during her college years and always spoke fondly about it. Costa Rica, when you look into it, is an eco-adventurer’s paradise. Zip-lining, surfing, and whitewater rafting are all available. You can go hiking through rainforests and see exotic wildlife. Both the Pacific and Caribbean coastlines have beautiful beaches for surfing or sunbathing. Hike to the Arenal Volcano, and then relax in its hot springs. Costa Rica’s “pura-vida” culture will provide your group with a relaxed yet exciting experience.

Tokyo offers a mixture of futuristic attractions, traditional culture, and a unique mix of cultures. Visit the Shibuya Crossing and its towering skyscrapers. Also, explore unique neighborhoods such as Akihabara. For adventurous dining, try authentic sushi, ramen, or even bizarre delicacies like fugu (pufferfish). Mount Fuji is a day trip from the city that offers hiking and breathtaking views. Explore Tokyo’s nightlife after sunset. From high-energy clubs and hidden izakayas, you can find it all.
