Summer is winding down, energies are shifting, and I’m coming to you with exciting news today:

We are about to kick off the SOS Series for Fall 2024!

This is the third-ever installment of the SOS Series and it will be lots more of the stuff we love: easy, delicious, big flavor, low-to-no-stress-style dinner recipes! We’ll be releasing one new recipe each week for the months of October and September. What is the SOS Series?

If you are unfamiliar, I began the SOS Series back in April 2021. The SOS Series was created to help me get through a challenging time – trying to adjust to life with a newborn, wrangling a toddler tornado while trying to return to work and keep an eye on Covid while trying not to lose my mind at dinnertime. There was a period of frozen dinners, take-out and snacks. While I enjoy chips and salsa, you reach a point in life when you decide: I’ve had enough. I have to cook a proper dinner.

My struggle stemmed from a lack of energy and time: I loved to cook, but I also wanted to eat food that was delicious, exciting and healthy. But I was (am?) I was (am?) so tired. The SOS Series will begin on Tuesday, September 10

Protein is a big focus in our house right now, so I really tried to anchor all of these recipes around protein more than ever before! I haven’t tried anything new. There are no add-ins, powders, or special ingredients. And, I don’t do macros. We have chicken, turkey, tofu, beef – a little bit of everything coming your way. One Last Personal Note

These recipes are for everyone who has ever felt the pressure at dinnertime.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed at work, dealing with physical or mental health challenges, attempting to manage a household of babies and kiddos, or just having an off day, my hope is that these SOS meals are here for you to deliver a really doable, fun, wholesome, delicious dinner option as a lifeline. The personal stories that you’ve shared with me over the past few years have truly transformed my life.
