These workshops will be available at all 450+ Pets at Home locations across the nation from 20 July until 1 September. Each workshop lasts 45 minutes, with a variety of activities to teach kids about Syrian Hamsters and their care. They will also be able to make some fun crafts.
It’s a fantastic way for children to understand what it takes to look after a small pet, covering everything from feeding to creating a cosy home for them.
Not only will they learn valuable information, but they’ll also get to complete a fun activity sheet and, at the end of the session, receive a certificate to take home as a reminder of their new knowledge.Who can attend?
The sessions are designed for children aged four and older, making it a great option for younger kids as well as older ones.
All materials needed for the activities are provided, so you don’t need to bring anything along.
However, it’s important to note that a parent or guardian must supervise all children throughout the workshop. It’s an opportunity for parents and guardians to spend some quality time together. These workshops are free and limited in space. It’s the perfect way to spend a day in summer with some learning, creativity and furry fun. Money-making enthusiast and father to Naomi.
