Mansory divides Mercedes G-Class fans with The Speranza
The Mercedes-Maybach G 650 is limited to only 99 examples. Each car is worth around $1.5million. Mansory’s latest G-Class Landaulet is not for everyone. The design may not be to everyone’s taste, but it has created more division between Mercedes fans. The Speranza is an Italian word that means “hope.” Its new bespoke creation features wild styling, two-tone paint, and carbon fiber elements. The body is painted white, with black accents, and the grille at the front. The interior of the luxury vehicle was covered in red and white leather by the tuner. Overall, the styling may remind onlookers of the G-Class-based Popemobile, which the three-pointed star marque gifted to the late Pope Francis earlier.
- Under the hood, the Maybach G 650 Landaulet-inspired build has the standard G-Class 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. Mansory boosted the SUV’s powertrain with bigger turbos, and a new system with high performance downpipes. This allowed it to exceed its Maybach counterparts V12 output. The auto’s electronically-capped top speed is also increased to 155 miles per hour.
