MagPod is a basic smartphone tripod I can’t live without
The legs that retract are very sturdy. The rubber bottom grips prevent them from sliding across surfaces when you scroll or tap on the screen. They stay put, even as I type emails or texts. You can fold all three legs together and use them as a grip to take selfies or shoot video, and this also makes the whole thing more travel-friendly.
Space Saving
Between my laptop, external monitor, keyboard, mouse, notebooks, iPad, and coffee mug, I always struggle to find a comfortable spot for my phone. The compact MagPod stand allows you to easily separate your phone from the clutter, and keeps it at the perfect viewing angle. My nightstands are also small, but they’re always crowded with my Kindle, books, trinkets, and water bottles. It’s easy to check notifications on my MagPod while I read or watch TV before going to bed. And it keeps me from constantly reaching for my phone. It’s perfect for FaceTime calls and I also use it to watch YouTube videos. It’s affordable, and everyone should have one in their house, even those with Android phones. Just make sure to have a MagSafe case. I may buy another one to store in my bag, or in a different room so that I don’t always have to grab this one. This stand is a part of me.
