, the actress best known for her roles in “American Graffiti,” “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” has died, TMZ has confirmed.Bette Smith
, Stewart’s manager tells TMZ … the actress died unexpectedly yesterday afternoon at her sister’s California home. Stewart was diagnosed with a tumor in December between her liver and gallbladder. She continued to work on both “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” as well as Ben Stiller’s new film, “The Dink”, as she felt healthy enough. ““She was the most talented and funny and most honorable person I have ever known,” Smith told us of Stewart.Cassandra Peterson, known for her iconic “Elvira” character, broke the sad news on IG, writing … “My heart is breaking upon hearing the news of my dear friend Lynne Stewart’s passing. “She was one of the sweetest and funniest people I have ever known.” – Cassandra Peterson

We reached out to a Stewart rep to get more information… but so far we haven’t heard back.As Cassandra pointed out, Stewart played Miss Yvonne on “Peewee’s playhouse” between 1986 and 1990… she also appeared in “Peewee’s Big Adventure”, “Big Top Peewee” and other ‘Peewee’ titles. “
