Hinge’s new AI tool wants to help you avoid making a bad dating profile
This new Hinge feature will help you find compatible matches if you have ever been unable to decide what prompt response would be the most witty and charming. The dating app announced Wednesday it would be introducing a prompt feedback tool which uses AI to refine and boost your profile. The new AI feature is available for English-speaking users. While the feedback Hinge provides is completely optional, it will not be possible to turn off the feature. Hinge confirmed the feature was powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT4o mini model.
“The feature is instructed in evaluating a dater’s profile answers to ensure that they are personal, specific and authentic,” a Hinge representative said. As part of its AI model’s instruction, the company incorporates data and research from the company.
