What are Glazed Raisin-Cinnamon Biscuits?
Glazed Raisin-Cinnamon Biscuits are a delightful baked treat that combines the tender, flaky texture of traditional biscuits with the warm flavors of cinnamon and sweet raisins. These biscuits usually consist of a buttermilk and cinnamon-sugar dough, with raisins added for sweetness. The biscuits then get a glaze made of powdered sugar, milk, or cream. Vanilla or cinnamon can also be added for flavor.
The glaze adds a shiny, slightly crisp layer of sweetness that complements the spiced, fruity interior.
Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or an indulgent snack, these biscuits are a cozy treat that’s both easy to make and impossible to resist.
