Garlic and Black Pepper Beef skewers Recipe

The number of times that I’ve made them in the past few weeks… is a lot. I can’t count how many times I have made these. These flavors are amazing. Here I am standing over my stove licking my fingernails while eating these with just my hands. These are my favorite because I think of two reasons:

THE TASTE. The combination of curry powder, garlic, ginger, soy and soy sauce with beef’s umami will not disappoint. It’s not okay, is it? It’s rich and warming (hello, curry powder!) It’s warming and rich (hello curry powder!) They’re thin. They are browned, caramelized and still juicy. You can eat them like candy. The cooking time is 6 to 7 minutes. Delicious.

You can skewer them or not. You can air fry, broil, or flash-sear in a pan. Choose your own adventure! You can choose any of these three options, but the flavors are all great and you will get caramelization in all of them. This Vietnamese-inspired treatment is the way to go. It’s not necessary to add the chili crisp for flavor but it does make everything look more finished.

But I also like eating them straight from the pan. The flavors are huge. The preparation time is minimal. The life is good.
