Ethan Coen Cannes movie gets summer release date
Honey Don’t, the dark comedy from Ethan Coen’s forthcoming film, will be released in theaters on August 22, according to Focus Features!
Margaret Qualley stars in the movie, along with Aubrey Plaza and Charlie Day. Chris Evans also appears. The story revolves around Honey O’Donahue who is a private investigator from a small town who investigates a series strange deaths that are linked to a mysterious Church.

Universal Pictures International is handling international distribution.
Coen wrote the film with Tricia Cooke, his co-writer on Drive-Away Dolls. That movie was also released by Focus Features and starred Qualley.

Among the notable studio-wide entries for August 22, Neon will have an untitled film on its calendar, Mubi will feature Alex Russell’s movie Lurker, and Vertical will present Ron Howard’s period drama Eden starring Jude Law and Ana de Armas.
