In his announcement of Bondi’s appointment, Trump described her as a “smart, tough” woman whom he has known for many years. The two are friends and allies. Pam Bondi was a prosecutor in Florida for almost 20 years. She was tough with violent criminals and made Florida streets safer for families. She worked as Florida’s first woman Attorney General to reduce the number of Fentanyl-related overdose deaths that have devastated many families in our country.
