Chocolate Banana Muffins
Last week, I had some bananas I needed to use. I wanted something different from Classic Banana Bread and Blueberry Banana Bread.
I had a craving for chocolate and found this recipe from the Cooking with Bananas cookbook: Breads Cakes Puddings and More! Chocolate Banana Muffins were just what I needed. My husband thought they were really good too but we agree they would be even better with some chopped walnuts so we’ll have to try that next time.

What are Chocolate Banana Muffins?

All purpose flour
Baking powder

- How to make Chocolate Banana Muffins
- Preheat the oven to 400deg. Spray or line a 12-cup muffin tin in non-stick cooking spray. Stir until combined.
In another mixing bowl, combine the bananas with the eggs, vegetable oil and milk.
Mix until well combined, then add the dry ingredients. Mix only until the batter is moistened and combined.
Spoon the batter into the muffin cups filling them about 2/3 full. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the toothpick inserted into the middle of the muffins is clean. Remove the muffins from oven. The muffins should be allowed to cool in the pan.
Remove the muffins from the pan and serve warm or at room temperature.
