Cast of ‘Chucky Reacts to Cancelation and Teases future of franchise
The stars of Chucky are mourning the death of the Syfy series, but they still have hope in Damballa to bring back the horror franchise.
Don Mancini, the creator of the Child’s Play spinoff series that will end after three years, teased the future of Chucky onscreen as he and other stars of the show reacted.
Mancini, quoting Deadline’s earlier report, wrote on X: “HE’LL be back.” “I love our fans so much. Your #RenewChucky Campaign meant the world to my family and me in a time of great difficulty. Chucky tells you all, in his own words: “See ya soon.” ‘”
Jennifer Tilly also expressed her disappointment on Facebook. She reprised Tiffany Valentine’s role in the film and herself for the television series. She began her post by saying, “It is so sad to announce that the television series Chucky was finally canceled after three wonderful years.”
“First, I’d love to thank our fans who kept the #RenewChucky trending for months! Chucky wouldn’t have lasted thirty years without your loyalty and tenacity! We are very proud of the show. Working with such a talented cast and crew has been an amazing miracle. Our captain Don Mancini was a brilliant leader. We are “down but not out” (to quote Call of Duty). Resurrections, Chucky is known for them. If you’re interested in watching three seasons of an amazing show (100% on the Tomatometer), click here. You can watch seasons 1, 2 and 3 on Peacock. Peace out. We love you all.”

Fiona Dourif wrote that her job as Nica was a “dream” and she is grateful for each and every moment. She even replaced her father Brad Dourif in the role of a young Charles Lee Ray. *we give a little red bow*
Zackary Arthur shared a statement in his Instagram Story. He played Jake Wheeler. He wrote: “For the last 4 years, I had the privilege of working with the most talented and caring people I have ever met.” “The time that I spent on Chucky has not only given me some of my greatest memories, but it’s also brought me lifelong friends.” The franchise wouldn’t be where it is today without the support of its viewers. I’m so glad that I was able to be a part of something that has helped so many people. Chucky always returns.”
Arthur continued: “It is clear that today’s result is not exactly what he hoped, but Mancini – who created and wrote the
film franchise – remained gracious in his response, vowing this is not Chucky’s last spree.”
Alyvia Alyn, who played Lexy, said goodbye to her fans by posting a bloody selfie from behind the scenes on her Insta Story. She wrote: “Thanks so much to the cast, crew and fans who have made this show happen.” It’s a special show and I am so thankful to have played Lexy for the past 4 years. Love you Chucky family. Lexy signing off”
Mancini had teased that he was’really excited’ about his Season 4 idea in April. I already pitched it to network. “I’m crossing my fingers because I love doing it,” he told The Direct.
Chucky, premiering in 2021 follows the murderous adventures of the infamous killer doll. As he tries to spread fear and mayhem, he crosses paths with old enemies, new allies, and archenemies. Executive produced by Don Mancini and Nick Antosca. Alex Hedlund was also involved. David Kirschner, Jeff Renfoe, and David Kirschner were all part of the show.
Mancini began the slasher film franchise in 1988 with Child’s Play, which he wrote with John Lafia. Tom Holland was also involved as director.
