This mix is perfect for a party, if you’re looking for a quick snack or if you need something cute to gift. This recipe was on Betty Crocker’s website and I found it the other day. Since I already had all the ingredients, I made it quickly. This Candy Cane Crunch Chex party mix is the MVP of holiday snacks. I used Corn Chex in place of Rice Chex. It’s simple, fun and ridiculously delicious. Make a batch, share it with friends and family and enjoy every festive peppermint-y bit!

Ingredients

Corn Chex cereal

White vanilla baking chips

Peppermint candy canes or coarsely crushed unwrapped peppermint candies

How to make Candy Cane Crunch Chex Party Mix

Line large rimmed cookie sheet with waxed paper. In a large bowl, mix the cereal. In a small saucepan, melt white chocolate chips, stirring constantly until smooth. Pour over the cereal and mix to coat. Sprinkle remaining candy immediately.

Refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes.

Gently break up coated cereal.

1bag11 oz white vanilla baking chips (about 2 cups)

cupcoarsely crushed gluten free peppermint candy canes or coarsely crushed unwrapped peppermint candiesLine large rimmed cookie sheet with waxed paper.

In small saucepan, melt the white chocolate chips stirring until smooth.Stir in half of the crushed peppermint candy.

Pour over cereal, mixing to coat.Spread mixture in single layer on cookie sheet, separating any larger clumps.
