Bluesky now adds a mentions tab to the notification screen, and protects users from username squatting.
The company has announced that they will be adding a mentions section to the v1.96 release to allow you to see these posts separately. Bluesky has also added protection against username-squatting, by reserving the original Bluesky user name with (.bsky.social) when you switch your username to a customized domain. Platform said that it reserves only the most recent Bluesky user name and it does not expire. Some people created a new account when switching to a customized domain in order to stop someone else from stealing their original Bluesky user name.
Bluesky will also add a way for replies to be displayed under a particular post. They can also sort replies using different filters like hot, oldest, newest most-liked and random. Users can sort replies by using filters such as hot, oldest or newest, most liked, random, etc. Image Credits: Bluesky
