Apple Pie Spiced Walnuts

Even if it has been warm again in Minnesota, I am really getting into the fall flavors and am preparing to slow down a bit more. Plus, I am looking for recipes that use the apples we have from our orchards and apple trees. The walnuts have all the flavors of fall in one bite. These walnuts are glazed with a sweet, sticky glaze and flavored with cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. They remind me of freshly baked apple pies. I’m going to make a fall mixed green salad with Apple Pie Vinaigrette from McCormick’s website and top it with walnuts. It sounds amazing! There’s a recipe for a nice fall Mixed Green Salad with Apple Pie Vinaigrette on McCormick’s website that I’m going to make next and top with the walnuts, that sounds amazing!

Let me know if you try them and what creative ways you find to enjoy these tasty walnuts.

Happy snacking!

What are Apple Pie Spiced Glazed Walnuts?

Apple Pie Spiced Glazed Walnuts are a delicious snack made by coating walnuts in a blend of spices typically found in apple pie, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, along with a sweet glaze, often made from sugar or maple syrup. The walnuts are typically baked or roasted until they have a caramelized coating and a crunchy texture. These walnuts have a warm, cozy flavor reminiscent of apple pie and are great for snacking, adding to salads, or using as a topping for desserts like yogurt, oatmeal, or ice cream.
