The download: AI headphone translator and the link between microbes, our behavior and our behavior

This scenario is the inspiration for a new AI headphone system that translates speech of multiple speakers simultaneously, in real time. A few years ago, a Belgian man in his 30s drove into a lamppost. Twice. Authorities found his blood alcohol content to be four times higher than the legal limit. The man was arrested three times for drunken driving in a short period of time. He was caught drunk driving three times in a few years. Later, a doctor diagnosed auto-brewery–a rare disorder in which the body produces its own alcohol. The microbes in the man’s system were fermenting carbohydrates to produce ethanol.
