AMC’s Silicon Valley Drama Series adds Simon Helberg from ‘Big Bang.

EXCLUSIVE: Simon Helberg will be tapping into his Big Bang engineering credentials for his next series role. He will be a series regular in AMC’s Silicon Valley drama, directed by Jonathan Glatzer and starring Billy Magnussen with Sarah Goldberg.
AMC Studios’ series is set in the Silicon Valley bubble, with its misguided corporate culture, moony labs of innovation, and competitive private high schools. The series is about a rift that develops between Duncan (Magnussen), a self-proclaimed “inventor for the future”, and Joanne (Goldberg), a selfless “performance psychologist”. They are both caught up in a scandal caused by the misuse of personal data.

Helberg will portray Martin, the billionaire CEO and founder of an AI firm. Helberg joins Magnussen, Goldberg and Meaghan Rahth in the previous cast.

Gina Mingacci also executive produces. Gina Mingacci is also an executive producer.
Helberg’s best-known role is as Howard Wolowitz, an aerospace engineer on the hit CBS Comedy series The Big Bang Theory. Helberg was last seen in the first season Peacock’s anthology crime series Poker Face. He is represented by UTA, Range Media Partners, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.
