Patti LuPone on Why the creator of ‘Agatha All Along,’ Patti LuPone, won’t do season 2

Don’t expect Patti LuPone to return anytime soon, even though she’s officially part of MCU.
The three-time Tony Award-winning actress explained that her Disney+ series Agatha All Along won’t be getting a second season. She said she “really hopes and prays” to work again with creator Jac Scheeffer.
“Jac, the creator of the show, came to my trailer to tell me that Lilia was going to die. I said, but I wanted a 2nd season …'”,” she told Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s podcast.

LuPone added, “

stated, ‘I do not do second seasons’.” “She said that they wanted her to do a 2nd season of WandaVision, but I refused. She said there was too much writing to be done, so she only does one-offs. I really hope and pray I get to work again with her because she is magic.”

After originating the titular character of Agatha Harkness in the Marvel parent series WandaVision, Kathryn Hahn told Deadline she’s hopeful to return to the MCU.[Schaffer]Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata, Joe Locke and Alice Wu-Gulliver in ‘Agatha All Along’ (Chuck Zlotnick/Marvel)

Hahn said in December that everyone would love to return, regardless of the capacity. It was a life-changing, profound experience with this small cast in Atlanta, Georgia.
Agatha All Along features Hahn in the role of the witch. She leads a group (including LuPone, Aubrey Plaza and Sasheer Zmata) along the mythical Witches’ Road that is supposed to give them all what they desire most.
