The orders are outrageous and unlawful, and they’re just the beginning of what will surely be an absurd and dangerous tenure for Trump and his team.

Trump’s first day in office and the bonkers executive orders it produced serve as an important reminder for this current age–getting through it will be a marathon, not a sprint. The Trump team is flooding the area with unconstitutional nonsense for a political reason. The goal is to confuse the media and demoralize the opposition. It also aims to move the Overton Window so far right that the most outrageous policy proposals of the Trump administration become law. It’s their strategy. Trump’s first-day performance proved this.
