Blake Lively Slams Justin Baldoni’s “Desperate Lawsuit”

Baldoni, Wayfarer, Heath, Sarowitz, Nathan, TAG, Abel, RWA Communications, Wallace and Street Relations filed a lawsuit against The New York Times Dec. 31. In the lawsuit obtained exclusively by E! The New York Times has been accused of libel and false light invasions of privacy as well as promissory fraudulent conduct, breach of implied contract, and promissory fraud for an article that alleged a smear against Lively by the plaintiffs after she raised concerns about purported misconduct at set. The plaintiffs, who called the report “false”, and said it was based on Lively’s CRD complaint and the article were cited out of context. The lawsuit claims that despite its claim of having’reviewed’ these documents along with others
, the Times relied on Lively’s unverified narrative and self-serving story almost verbatim. They also claim that “Lively, and not Plaintiffs” engaged in a calculated campaign of smear. She denied it.
The New York Times stated that they plan to “vigorously” defend themselves against the lawsuit. “
