Morgan was involved in more controversy when he was heard using a racial slur
The singer of “Wasted On You” was heard hurling a slur as he headed into his Tennessee house. A video released by TMZ showed Morgan and his friends making a lot of noise as they arrived at the house. Neighbors came outside, and one began recording the incident.
Morgan is heard telling someone to watch over one of the other guys in their group. The country singer also yelled, “take care this p ****-ass and n *****.”” On February 10, 2021, he released a video apology explaining some of his remarks. He said, “The video that you saw was me at hour 72 of 72 on a bender. That’s also not something I’m very proud of.” He confessed he was feeling “nervous” while he recorded the Instagram post.
