La La Anthony shares what her son Kiyan has taught her about fashion
Style runs in the blood! La La Anthony sat down with ET ahead of hosting the 14th Rookie Kids Fashion Show with Haddad Brands on Sept. 26 in Los Angeles, California and shared how her son inspires her fashion choices.
Kiyan, 18, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Carmelo Anthony, walked the runway at the event in 2015, and the mother-son duo have exchanged style tips ever since.

“We have continued bonding over fashion. He keeps me in the loop of what’s trending, and stylish,” the television personality, 42, explained.
“The best advice I give him about style is to always be himself. You can follow the latest trends but you should love what you wear. When you love your outfit, you feel good,” she shared.
Anthony has lived by this motto over the years when picking out looks for herself.
“I think my style has evolved with the times and trends. I don’t regret anything, but if I look at a photo from 10 years ago, I might wonder, “What was I wearing?” moment because style changes with time,” the New York native noted.

Currently, Anthony is opting for cozy get-ups with an edgy flare.
Her go-to outfit for the fall season: “I love a really fly sneaker and I’m always excited about denim-on-denim. It’s a classic trend that you can dress up or down. “
I love to look sexy but I’m a tomboy in my heart. She said, “I love to be comfortable.”
