Justin Bldoni spoke out recently in support of domestic abuse survivors amid the alleged drama surrounding his It Ends With Us Co-Star, Blake LIVELY. The 40-year old producer shared a message on Instagram dedicated to those affected by the themes of the film. Each thread in your tapestry tells a tale of strength, endurance and hope. The Jane the Virgin alum wrote: “You might not see your impact, but you inspire and motivate others with your journey. You are not alone. I will never be able to fully understand the pain you have experienced. Justin concluded his message by saying, “May you always remember that when you fight for joy…you are liberating us.”
This comes after Blake Lively’s 37-year old co-star faced criticism for her behavior during press interviews to promote the film. The novel is based on
ColleenHoover’s
novel. According to reports, tensions were caused by Justin feeling he didn’t have enough creative input in his role as director. An insider said
Us weekly, “There was a split between Team Blake and Justin.” This creative struggle set the tone for a negative experience behind the scenes and eventually led to them not speaking.”
Additionally, Blake has received online criticism for making a joke in response to a serious question about domestic violence, a central theme in It Ends With Us. This backlash has led to further discussion about the need for sensitivity when dealing with such a sensitive topic, particularly in a movie meant to highlight survivors’ experiences.
