2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 VIN 001 Sells For $3.7 Million At Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale

Scottsdale is the most prestigious auction event on Barrett-Jackson’s calendar. Scottsdale is embracing its status as Arizona Car Week has become a must for automotive enthusiasts. The highlight of the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction this year was the first retail production Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 VIN 001 2020. It’s been a long-standing tradition of Barrett-Jackson to showcase the first production example of an anticipated new model, with proceeds benefiting various charities.

The Corvette ZR1 continues to grow in popularity since its jaw-dropping debut to the world, leaving eager customers running to dealers to lock in a build slot. The 2025 ZR1 is the most powerful Corvette to date, with a 5.5L flat-plane crank twin-turbocharged LT7 engine producing over 1,064 hp. The gloss black Corvette ZR1 was brought to the stage in front of a room packed with enthusiasts and media. Bidding intensified as buyers fought for VIN 001. The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 sold for $3,700,000. All auction fees were waived, and 100% of proceeds went to the American Red Cross. We expect that, with the first C8 Corvette ZR1 already on the road in Bowling Green, more chassis will soon be rolling off of the production line.
